After an international directive search in 2008, Peter was headhunted to head up the fundraising team supporting Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As Director of Fundraising Peter was tasked to build the charity, introduce a Total Development funding Program, and launch a major capital fundraising campaign to facilitate solicitation of 6 and 7 figure donors. Peter also served as Campaign Director for the campaign, the £100m 2020 Vision Campaign: a comprehensive capital fundraising program on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus to fund construction of five new buildings and research institutes by the year 2020. During his nearly four years at the helm of ACT, donations, legacies, and pledged income rose threefold: from AU$4,449,000 in 2008-09, to $10,752,000 in 2009-10, and $15,243,000 in 2010-11.
